Hey everyone! So, first off, props to Jessica & Newt for the excellent idea. As a long time Seabeck-attender and one of last year's FOR interns here in Seattle, I've been a little frustrated by the lack of youth coordination. I really wish I could commit more time, but this year will probably be pretty full of finishing up senior year (takin' all those classes i should have long ago), applying to colleges, working/looking for work, and so forth. However, keep up the good work, and I'll drop in when I can! ~Brigid

Thank you Brigid we need that kind of encouragement to know that we are doing the right thing! Luckily it seems like we are and there are so many people ready to help. Posting on the message board is a great place to start cause then we can slowly start to get to know each other. I am a little tired today cause 2 days ago I walked with the Peace Walkers for 15 miles! It was amazing, we drummed the whole way, chanted and walked! Sometimes we would talk. It was my first time on a peace walk and it was wonderful. The people were very welcoming and grateful. I can't believe they are walking 300 miles! For more info check out there website at nipponzan.net I would encourage anyone to join them for a block, a mile or the rest of their trip! Breathe Deep, Seek Peace, Jessica

Hi! I'm new to FORYA, and was wondering if this is still an active message board? I also marched for peace a couple years back, and am part of a group called "Meditate for World Peace." I am now a freshman at the University of Washington. What is Seabeck?
Thanks,
Sam

there must b 4 there 2 b. In this day and age of "my bedroom" policy inn a society at large in wont of shared dwelling coordinated admittance, one wonders if proven life skill has any bearing on world peace efforts in the world today as far as the role these skills play in communicatonal functions of benevolent daily operations ie. going to the store. Support support. Will we ever admitt to merritted information and the fact that there are given standards of existence. labelism.moogo.com
